February 1 – 50th Anniversary Kick-Off Celebration Begin the Journey of Celebration Join us as we open the 50th Anniversary of Retreat Ministry at Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality. This special gathering marks five decades of prayer, hospitality, and lives transformed on holy ground. The Kick-Off Celebration features optional activities (hikes, art gallery tour, archives tour), Mass and Dinner, and history highlights. Come reconnect with the Mount, meet old friends, and step into a year of gratitude and grace.
June 6 – MountFest 10th Annual Art, Music, & Food Festival A Day of Community, Creation, and Celebration MountFest brings together families, friends, and the wider community for a joyful outdoor festival honoring the beauty of creation and the Franciscan spirit. Enjoy live music, art, local vendors, children’s activities, nature walks, and great food—all set against the backdrop of our 400-acre Sanctuary. MountFest celebrates the Mount as a place of connection, creativity, and belonging. Everyone is welcome to join this spirited celebration of faith and community.
August 8– Live the Fourth Renew the Spirit, Rekindle Your Call Live the Fourth invites all retreat alumni, volunteers, and supporters to return to the Mount for a day of spiritual renewal inspired by the retreat traditions that have changed countless lives over 50 years. Through prayer, witness stories, small-group reflection, and Eucharistic celebration, participants are encouraged to deepen their discipleship and share the light of Christ in their daily lives. Whether recently or long ago, if a retreat touched your heart, this gathering is for you.
October 4 – Homecoming Where the Journey Brings Us Back Home On the Feast of St. Francis, we welcome all who have ever prayed, served, retreated, or found peace at Mount Saint Francis to return “home” for a day of gratitude and blessing. Homecoming includes guided tours, historical displays, reunion gatherings, and a Franciscan-focused liturgy celebrating the Mount’s legacy of spiritual hospitality. Come share memories, celebrate friendships, and honor the friars, staff, donors, and retreatants who shaped five decades of ministry.
