Advent Reflections: Four Monday Evenings in the Chapel
St. Francis 800th Anniversary Reflection
Four Mondays, November 30 thru December 21, 2026 | 6:30pm - 7:30pm
"Advent is a time for renewing the horizon of our hope, a hope which does not disappoint because it is founded on the Word of God." - Pope Francis
Monday Night Advent Reflections at the Mount
Join us on Monday nights during Advent from 6:30–7:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Mount Saint Francis for a quiet hour of prayer, reflection, and sacred waiting.
As we mark the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi, we will reflect on the gift of Greccio, where Francis created the first live Nativity to help people enter more deeply into the mystery of Christ’s birth. Other evenings will include silence, prayer, Scripture, Lectio Divina, Visio Divina, music reflection, and space to ponder the wonder of Advent.
Come begin your week in stillness as we wait, anticipate, and prepare our hearts for the birth of Jesus.
